Rock Solid

Rock Solid is our Friday night youth club that runs twice a month on the second and fourth Fridays of the month during school term time. It is open to anyone who is middle school age and each meeting costs just 50p. For that, you get fun, games, discussion and social time, along with access to our well stocked tuck shop. Just turn up at 7:30pm, register and we'll explain the rest!

Each meeting runs around a central theme, and all the games and discussion are based around this. Themes we have covered in the past have included slavery, bullying, self-esteem and drinking. These are approached from a Christian perspective, and sometimes meetings will include a no-pressure presentation of the Christian faith. The material we base these meetings on is provided by Youth for Christ.

From time to time, we also run trips and special meetings in conjunction with the group, in addition to the normal meeting programme. Recently, we have run a video night, visited Quasar and run a meeting themed on toilet rolls!
